M1000 ELECTRO-SURGICAL UNIT (Diathermy) uses two industry standar Microcontrollers. One Microcontroller is dedicated for Display, Keyboard scan and some other user specific actions. The other Microcontroller is used for the overall control. These two microcontrollers communicate with each other to share data. The different waveforms Cut, Coagulation, etc) are generated in hardware from a Quartz Crystal controlled oscillator and are selected bythe~control Microcontroller based on the user selection. This waveform is then feed to a Raciio Frequency (RF) amplifier to generate the final RF output.Feedback Control:
One of the most important functions of the Control Microcotroller is to provide feedback to regulate the output power of the Diathermy.
